When I very first heard about this film, I got so excited that I went on web hunt to contact anyone connected to the project. I did manage to find a way to contact the production and shot them off an email with samples of my work and I was very surprised when I got a personally written email back in which they expressed an interest in my preferred approach to puppet fabrication.

It’s upsetting that the production is in limbo but, that’s also not uncommon and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it does get green lighted at some point. I wonder if any test animation has been done to demonstrate the look and feel to studios and investors?

I have to admit that I’ve never read Pinocchio or seen the Disney film. I should do that… it might inspire me to do that very thing myself. :)
