Dynamation style Stop Motion FX for B-Flicks
February 4, 2013
Okay, where are you international independent producers (aka suits)? I think USA may be a lost cause with Cgi brainwashing. How many times have I posted about Peter A. Montgomery’s work? And I will continue to do so just because of my admiration of Peter’s talent and to especially let others see his cost-effectively executed special effects works with strong high production values.
This thing called Youtube or similar video host sites, I am astounded how the most assinine crap can get mega hundreds thousands of view hits and yet, stuff like Peter’s work have low view hits. WTF?? In general, much talent out there, in all areas of craft, art, music, etc. but the generic masses/public perhaps also are lost cause and sucked into their trivial bread & circuses diversions … but I digress. Peter says this is a completed version of the sequence which has the Stop Motion Skeleton character (we at SMW posted earlier about) ….

Go Peter!!!
That was really good…nice work Peter.
I liked the Dikembe Mutombo “no, no, don’t bring that____up in” here finger wag. ( I’m a huge NBA fan)

Thank you
I actually based it on this shot from Twighlight Zone the movie. I always wanted to get it into a film, this seemed perfect. Clip at 8:34

Twilight sorry. What a typo. LOL
That’s cool, I did it too!
So you did get it completed after all. Patience is truly a bliss if you really want something done. Love the sequence with the jackass skeleton.
Yep. cut a deal with the actor. Had to be done. Anyway, it’s in the movie now.
Nice work all around Peter. Not only are you great behind the camera you are very good as an actor in front of it. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
