| Again, I have not fully
explained all details or shown photos of other steps
involved with this particular moldmaking method using
Gypsum Cements; this is just a general introduction.
Personally, I mostly learn through books, research,
looking at photographs and have visited a few molding
departments on some of projects that I worked on. With
careful observation, I was able to eventually piece
together and figure-out the moldmaking process. Remember
this, most importantly, you Have To, Just DO IT and
you will most likely make mistakes but this is the best
"teacher", and you can always practice
moldmaking on test sculptures. Gypsum plasters
are only one type of molding material.....there are also
polyurethane rubbers, silicones, epoxies, and
fiberglass.....each has their specific use, purposes,
advantages & disadvantages. If you go to my Links
